Upholding Integrity in Quapaw Nation Elections

Illustration of a masked figure stealing an election sign with a check mark and turtle symbol, with bold text stating ‘Theft or Vandalism of Election Signs Is a Crime!’ and the O-Gah-Pah Nation logo in the corner.

The Quapaw Nation stands firmly against the theft and vandalism of election signs. These actions are not only illegal—they also undermine the integrity of our sovereign elections and the values we hold dear as a Nation. We must hold ourselves to a higher standard and ensure that every voice within the Quapaw Nation has the opportunity to be heard without intimidation or interference.

Campaign materials are costly and intended to inform—not to incite or divide. Damaging or removing signs does not change votes, but it does reflect poorly on the character of our community and the democratic process we strive to uphold.

Let us set a better example—not just for ourselves, but for the future generations of our tribe. Uphold the dignity of our elections, respect differing viewpoints, and if you witness theft or vandalism of political signage, please report it immediately to the Quapaw Nation Marshal Service.

Together, we can protect the voice of the people and the integrity of our Nation.
