Quapaw Nation Higher Education, led by Director Krista Pierce, is hosting a series of events designed to strengthen opportunities for students and families. These events—funding sessions, budgeting classes, and a Silent Auction—are all focused on supporting education across the Quapaw Nation.

Funding Resources Sessions
Affordability is one of the biggest barriers for Native students. The funding sessions provide guidance on scholarships, grants, and application steps. Having clear information makes it easier for students to secure support and continue their studies.

Budgeting Class Series
The five-part budgeting series teaches practical financial skills such as managing debt, saving, and planning for the future. These skills help students and families prepare for unexpected expenses and reduce financial stress while in school.

Silent Auction for STEM
The Silent Auction raises funds to support Quapaw Nation STEM activities. These include the Inter-Tribal STEM Fair, Interactive STEM Fair, and other community-based STEM projects. Every donation and bid helps create more opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math for Native students.
Why These Events Matter
When students have access to local, culturally grounded programs, they benefit from better transitions into higher education and stronger persistence toward graduation. These Quapaw Nation Higher Education events not only provide immediate support but also build long-term opportunities for future generations.
