Vision to Action Event Engages Quapaw Community in Watershed Planning

The Vision to Action event hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tribal Nations Technical Center of Expertise (USACE TNTCX) and the Quapaw Nation invites the community to participate in an open dialogue on watershed planning for the Tar Creek and Spring River areas.

Taking place on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, this community open house will be held at the Quapaw Farmers Market & Food Hub in two sessions:

• Session 1: 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM

• Session 2: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

The first session includes Indian tacos available while supplies last, with a $5 suggested donation. The evening session will offer beverages only as community members are encouraged to share their ideas and feedback on regional environmental and water resource planning.

This Vision to Action session is an opportunity for tribal members and residents to actively shape the future of local water systems and environmental impact strategies.
