Quapaw Nation Visit Arkansas Sites to Enhance Cultural Heritage Collaboration

Recently, THPO Director Everett Bandy, Deputy Director Billie Burtrum and Quapaw Nation Chair Wena Supernaw visited the Arkansas Historical Museum in Little Rock, Plum Bayou Mounds and then spent 2 days in a National Park System consultation at the Arkansas Post. It was not only an enriching learning experience but we were able to brainstorm around future endeavors together to preserve and promote our rich cultural heritage in Arkansas.
