Quapaw Nation Seeks Input for Credit Union Feasibility Study
The Quapaw Nation is conducting a feasibility study to explore the possibility of bringing a credit union to the reservation. Community input will help inform this thorough study.
The Nation invites the following groups to participate:
Who Is Invited to Participate?
Quapaw Nation government employees
Downstream Casino and other enterprise employees
Enrolled Quapaw Nation citizens, including citizens who live outside the area
Spouses of Quapaw Nation citizens
Residents of Ottawa and Delaware Counties
About the Survey
The survey questions were provided by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) as part of the credit union feasibility and chartering process. These are not questions developed by the Quapaw Nation; they are questions the NCUA requires before the process can move to the next step.
The survey is intended to determine whether there is sufficient interest and potential membership to support a credit union, and to identify the financial services prospective members would use.
