Celebrating a New Denver March Princess: Mash-Ta Littlecook

Mash-Ta Littlecook has recently been crowned the Denver March Princess. In recognition of this achievement, an Honor Dance will be held on May 31, 2025, at the Ottawa Peoria Building in Miami, Oklahoma.

The event will begin with a Gourd Dance at 2:00 PM, followed by a supper break at 5:00 PM. The evening will continue with a War Dance at 7:00 PM.

The headstaff includes Ocquanoxcey Hamilton as MC, George Valliere as Head Singer, Joey Giveswater-Smith as Head Gourd Dancer, and the Intertribal Gourd Clan as the Host Gourd Clan. Billy Proctor and Robynn Rulo Shaw will serve as Headman and Headlady Dancers.

This event highlights the achievement of a young leader and the importance of cultural recognition in the community.
